AiroHR vs Keka

Keka is a large, established HR platform. AiroHR is newer, and built around Indian payroll, attendance and contract workforces. Here is a fair look at both, including where Keka is the better choice.

Checked on 30 October 2026, from public pages. Prices and features change.

The short answer

Which one suits you?

Choose AiroHR if

  • Your staff work shifts, at client sites or on contract, and you need contract staff by firm, duty-based pay and read-only logins for principal employers.
  • You want face attendance on an Android tablet, included in every plan, with no biometric machine to buy.
  • You want a published per-employee price with no base fee.
  • You want help with the Labour Codes: a 50% wage check, an LWF return and a bonus register under the Code on Wages.
  • You use Tally and want a payroll journal ready to import.

Choose Keka if

  • You want a long-established vendor. Keka says it is chosen by 12,500+ companies. AiroHR is much newer and smaller.
  • You want tax worked out for you. Keka lists TDS calculations, while in AiroHR HR enters each employee's monthly TDS.
  • You need Form 130 now. Keka's payroll page names it, while AiroHR's annexure is still in the Form 16 layout.
  • You run projects and bill clients for time. Keka has a separate product for timesheets, projects and invoicing.
  • You have staff abroad. Keka lists regional sites for the Gulf, the US and the Philippines, and Employer of Record partners.
  • You want many ready integrations. Keka says it connects with 100+ tools. AiroHR's list is shorter.

Monthly billing. AiroHR and Razorpay Payroll add 18% GST, and Zoho prices exclude GST. greytHR's page does not state GST. — means the plan does not go that far. Keka has no figures here because its pricing page text showed none.

FAQ

Common questions

Is AiroHR cheaper than Keka?

We cannot say. The Keka pricing page we read listed plans but showed no prices, so compare a quote from Keka with AiroHR's published price of ₹90 per employee a month on Professional, plus GST.

Does Keka handle contract labour and principal employers?

The Keka pages we read do not mention them, but we did not read its manufacturing and construction pages. Ask Keka. AiroHR tracks contract staff by firm and gives principal employers a read-only login.

Does AiroHR calculate TDS like Keka?

Not in the same way. In AiroHR, HR enters each employee's monthly TDS and every payroll run deducts it. Keka's pages list TDS calculations and quarterly reports.

Can I move from Keka to AiroHR?

Yes. Employee and salary data can be brought in by Excel, and AiroHR has no setup fee and offers free data migration.

How was this comparison made?

We read Keka's pricing, payroll and home pages on 30 October 2026. Anything those pages do not mention is marked as not on the pages we read, because Keka may still offer it.
